Our Big Heart Community Service Program celebrates high school students who give back through volunteering. Make a difference through volunteering and earn recognition for your commitment.

Volunteer hours are time you spend helping others—whether an individual, organization, or a cause—without pay. It's just your time, energy, and heart contributing to the community.

Complete and log 100 approved volunteer hours by May 1 of your senior year and you'll receive:

  • An honor cord to wear at graduation
  • Your name recognized in the graduation program

How to Join and Log Hours

  1. Register for an account - Enter a non-school email to sign up. You'll receive a link to create your profile and submit hours.
  2. Log your hours - Begin reporting hours after 8th grade promotion through May 1 of senior year.
    • Each submission must include: hours, dates, organization name, supervisor/volunteer contact info, and a short description of the activity.

    • Example of an approved description: “Organized care packages with books and toys for children.”

    • Example of a not approved description: “Helped kids.”

  3. Check your email regularly - The PTSA chair may contact you with questions. If you don't reply before the May 1 deadline, those hours cannot be approved.
