Welcome to IHS!

Transitioning to a new school and community can be overwhelming for parents and students, alike.  The New Family Ambassador Program, a program of the IH PTSA, is here to ease your family's transition. NFAP is a volunteer program that offers social and educational opportunities for families new to the Issaquah School District. The program offers access to shared high school and community resources, as well as connections to established families to help answer questions, offer suggestions and ultimately welcome you to Issaquah.

If you are interested in being paired with a New Family Ambassador, please share general information about your family by clicking here: New To IHS Family Information Questionnaire.  Shared information will be completely confidential, and only used for matching your family with an established IHS family.

If you want to be on the email list to receive information and dates for upcoming events, please email ihsnewfamilyconnect@gmail.com - one of our co-chairs, Cathy Habib and Lisa Hill, would be happy to give you information and add you to our email list.

Our Facebook group is another great way to get updates  and a great way post questions or to update things related to the high school: IHS New Family Ambassador Program

Karen Stevens from the IHS College and Career Center Specialist walked IHS parents through the College and Career website.  She will be creating a series of short videos on this content that we will share with parents in the coming weeks.  You may always explore her website on your own at https://sites.google.com/site/issaquahhsccc .
