  • SENIOR BREAKFAST - Wednesday morning, June 12th in the IHS commons
    • 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. - NOTE THE NEW START TIME (was 8 a.m.).  Kids can sleep an extra half hour.  The mandatory IHS graduation rehearsal is in the gym at 9:30 a.m.
  • Breakfast is for seniors only.
  • No fee.  Compliments of IH PTSA and senior parents.
  • Co-Chairs Penelope Benis and Laura Melgard are contacting volunteers soon.  If you didn't already sign up on the PTSA website and would like to help, please email Penelope Benis at
  • SENIOR FAREWELL - Wednesday evening, June 12th in the IHS gym and commons
    • 7 - 9 p.m. (Seniors should report to the Aux gym at 6:15 p.m. wearing graduation gowns/carrying caps).
  • Senior Farewell is for seniors, their families, and friends.
  • No keynote speaker this year.  This is all about the kids.  In the gym--talent showcase, student MC's, seniors sharing favorite memories.  In the commons afterward--dessert reception. Great time for photos!
  • No fee.  Compliments of IH PTSA.  Dessert reception compliments of junior parents.
  • Auditions for the talent showcase will be held after school on Wednesday, May 29th and Thursday, May 30th.  Seniors may sign up here.  Can't make the audition dates?  No problem.  Upload a video to Youtube.  Click the link for details on where to send.
  • Please encourage your senior to audition.  This is a talented group! We would like to hear from musicians, dancers, jugglers, magicians, poets...
  • A highlight for parents/families is the Senior Farewell Slideshow in gym before event starts:  photos of seniors with captions depicting their plans next year, such as college attending, work, gap year plans, etc.
    • To include your student in the slideshow, send photo (in JPEG form) and plans to
    • Please note this is a different slideshow than the one discussed on the IHS Senior Calendar.  (Scroll down to Senior Slideshow).

If your Senior is still on the fence about attending the All-Night Grad Party, it's not too late!  My co-chair Ami Maron and I recently visited the venues, and WE ARE SO EXCITED about what's in store!  This will be a night the kids will talk about for years to come.  Don't know if you've heard, but CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED this year, the first time ever for IHS.

  • ALL-NIGHT GRAD PARTY - Thursday, June 13th, after Graduation
    • Sign-Up for the Bus - Tuesday, May 21st at IHS; 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. (outside main doors)
      • Does your senior want to sit on the same bus as their friend(s)?  This is the day to ensure that happens!
      • Only those who have submitted the required forms may sign up for a specific bus on this day.   Make sure all friends have turned in their forms!  Otherwise, the bus may be full later.
      • Running Start students not at IHS during lunch:  contact Andreanne Gingras at  She will help you get on a bus with your friend(s).
      • We expect to have six buses:  red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple
        • Students are signing up only for a bus color, not an assigned seat on that bus. Seats will be first come, first served the night of the party (Like you're flying Southwest; everyone gets a seat, but the earlier you arrive, the better your seat options).
  • Check-In for the Party - Thursday, June 13th at IHS; 4 - 4:30 p.m.
    • On graduation day, ALL seniors must be dropped off at IHS and in the auditorium by 4:45 p.m.
    • Seniors ride all together on buses to T-Mobile Park.
    • Those attending the All-Night Party will arrive early to IHS for check-in, receiving wrist bands and signing final paperwork.
    • This will save precious time after graduation and allow us to start the party sooner!

Can't stress enough that it's time to submit the required paperwork!

If your Senior is not already signed up but would like to go, please click here.  Next, submit the forms. Print this required form.  Does your senior have a life-threatening medical condition?  If so, please print this form, too.

Easiest way to turn in form(s) is for student to give to IHS receptionist.  Otherwise, please scan and email to me, Diane Burdette, at

Finally, click here to learn about ordering a 2019 Yard Sign for your Graduate.  They're amazing!

Whew!  I know this is a lot to process.  Hang in there, everyone!  Graduation will be here before we know it.
