Senior Farewell, Senior Breakfast, All Night Grad Party

Manages PTA communications across school and community channels, including newsletters, website updates, social media, school eNews contributions, and other digital and print communications that support PTA activities and engagement.

Manages PTA membership enrollment and includes membership categories and related volunteer opportunities.

The IH PTSA Awards Committee each year solicits nominations, evaluates and selects recipients for the Golden Acorn, Outstanding Advocate, and Outstanding Educator Awards. The Committee also prepare and submit applications annually for State PTA awards.

Provides SAT and ACT practice/mock testing opportunities.

Provides support for students and families in need through donated resources and assistance.

The IH PTSA Community Service Program encourages all IHS students to become active, engaged members of our community. Graduating seniors who complete the required hours of volunteer service will be recognized with a Community Service Honor Cord at graduation.

IH PTSA will consider any item, program or activity that is compatible with our mission and will review applications considering at least the following criteria:

* Does it foster student learning?
* Does it strengthen our school community?
* Does it reach a large number of students and/or target an underserved population?
* Will it have a long-term impact?
* Does it align with IHS building goals?
* Is IH PTSA the most appropriate funding source?

Connections, formerly called "New Family Connections" and "New Family Ambassador Program", is a program of the IH PTSA, formed to help families new to the Issaquah School District smoothly transition to their new community and assist students who are newly enrolled at Issaquah High School. The program offers shared IHS and Issaquah resources, social events throughout the year and pairs new families with an ambassador. An Ambassador is an established resident of Issaquah, with an IHS student.

Reflections is a National PTA program that includes visual arts, music, photography, literature, choreography/dance, and film/video. Occurs in the Fall and involves being on a committee that selects the top 12 IHS entrees that go on to the state competition.

The Issaquah High PTSA encourages students to continue their education after graduation.
Any student applying for the PTSA Scholarship must be in good standing at IHS and demonstrate a commitment to furthering his/her education.
The IH PTSA awards a scholarship of $1,000 each to five graduating seniors.

Hospitality provides food and support for Staff Breakfasts, Staff Appreciation Week, and occasional support for other PTSA programs throughout the year.
