SENIOR INFO

Senior Farewell will be held Friday, June 9, 7pm in the Issaquah High School Gym. A reception and photo opportunities will be held in the IHS Commons immediately following.   The event (formerly known as Baccalaureate) is a FREE secular event full of music, memories and words of wisdom.  Invitations to the event were mailed to senior student homes last week.    Seniors will wear their graduation robes (no caps) for the event.  Be sure to bring caps, as this is THE BEST TIME to take photos of your senior and their friends in their graduation cap and robe, Everyone is welcome to attend.

NOTE TO SENIOR PARENTS : There is a traditional slideshow of seniors and their destination after high school during the Senior Farewell event. (This is a separate slideshow from the ASB's casual photo request).

Please send in your child's senior photo and destination to Anne Watanabe at issyseniors2017@gmail.com   IT'S NOT TOO LATE.... Tickets for the All Night Grad Party are still available on a first-come, first-served basis.  This is the super fun, safe and sober way for your graduating Senior to celebrate their achievements with all their classmates.  Students will meet at IHS at 9:45pm the night of graduation to board buses and head off for a night of celebration at multiple locations  - tons of entertainment, food and games included! Click here for more information and to sign up!   All Seniors have the chance to attend, as there are scholarships available.  Please contact Sally Feldman at IHS2017SeniorEvents@gmail.com with questions on scholarships or event details.

BELL SCHEDULES AND SLEEP STUDY
The Issaquah School District is participating in a study conducted by a researcher at Seattle Children’s Hospital regarding the impact of changing bell schedules and sleep. We are asking both students and parents to participate in the study by taking a survey this spring and a follow up survey next spring. The questions, developed by the researcher, have also been used nationally in similar studies of school districts that have made changes to their bell schedules. We hope parents and students will set aside 10 minutes to answer the survey questions before the end of the school year on June 20, 2017. Please note the following links are being advertised through individual school E-News and are included here for convenience.
